Privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy and Mexico Privacy Notice explains how Exponential and BDG Global (collectively, “Exponential,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. It applies to exponential.so, our recruiting activities, and forms or advertisements we operate on third-party platforms, including Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Exponential / BDG Global is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. Our privacy contact is admin@exponential.so. You may use this address to ask questions, limit use or disclosure, withdraw consent where applicable, or exercise the rights described below.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, city or region, preferred language, LinkedIn profile URL, résumé or curriculum vitae, work history, education, professional skills, availability, role preferences, compensation expectations, work authorization, and information you include in free-text responses or communications.

When you use our website or respond to an advertisement, we may also receive technical and advertising information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from technical signals, referral URL, page interactions, cookie or similar identifiers, ad campaign and form identifiers, and submission date and time.

Please do not provide sensitive personal information—such as medical information, biometric data, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, financial account details, government identification numbers, or information about criminal history—unless we specifically request it for a lawful purpose and provide any additional notice or consent required by law. We do not intentionally collect information from children under 18.

3. Recruiting and Meta Lead Ads

We may run employment or recruiting advertisements directed to candidates in Mexico, including the Playa del Carmen area. If you submit a Meta Instant Form or another lead form, Meta may prefill information from your Meta account and send your responses to us. Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policy; we process the information we receive under this policy. Submitting a form is voluntary and does not guarantee an interview, employment, or any other outcome.

4. Why we use information

We use personal information to receive and review applications; assess qualifications and suitability for current or future roles; communicate about recruiting; schedule interviews; verify information you provide where lawful; maintain recruiting records; improve our recruiting and advertising; measure campaign performance; prevent fraud and abuse; secure our systems; respond to inquiries; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where required, we rely on your consent. We may also process information as necessary to take steps at your request before entering an employment or services relationship, to comply with law, and for legitimate operational and security interests that do not override your rights. We will obtain new consent before using your information for a materially different purpose when required by law.

5. Cookies, pixels, and advertising tools

Our website and advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand traffic, attribute submissions, measure advertisements, and improve campaigns. These partners may receive technical identifiers and interaction data. You can limit cookies through your browser and manage advertising preferences through the relevant platform. Disabling these technologies may affect some site functions but will not prevent you from contacting us by email.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to affiliated companies involved in recruiting; authorized recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers; hosting, communications, analytics, security, applicant-tracking, and other service providers acting for us; professional advisers; government authorities when legally required; and a buyer or successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information. We do not provide applicant information to third parties for their own unrelated direct marketing. We require service providers to use information only for authorized purposes and to protect it appropriately.

7. International transfers

Exponential, its affiliates, and service providers may process information in Mexico, the United States, and other countries where privacy laws may differ. We use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and comply with applicable transfer requirements. By submitting information, you acknowledge this processing; where consent is legally required, we will request it.

8. Retention

We retain recruiting information while evaluating you and for a reasonable period afterward to consider you for future opportunities, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Ordinarily, candidate records are retained for up to 24 months after the most recent meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required by law, needed for a legal claim, or you consent to longer retention. We then delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of the information.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, disclosure, access, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, deletion or cancellation, objection to particular processing, restriction of use or disclosure, withdrawal of consent, and information about relevant transfers. These are commonly called ARCO rights in Mexico: Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación y Oposición.

Send a request to admin@exponential.so with the subject “Privacy Request.” Include your name, a way to contact you, the right you wish to exercise, a clear description of the relevant information, and any details needed to locate your record. We may request reasonable proof of identity and, for an authorized representative, proof of authority. We will respond within the time and in the manner required by applicable law. You may also opt out of recruiting communications at any time by replying or emailing us.
